Sloka's SSWTT course 2024-25

SSWTT 2024-25 – Module 1 was conducted with the

Theme of Waldorf Education – A  Sanctuary in the Shifting Sands of Modern Education from July 15th to August 2nd, 2024, followed by a week of class observation and presentation by the  both online and offline participants.

Participants explored Bothmer,  Eurythmy, Painting, Handwork and Sculpting. The archetypes and value of the Waldorf Literature from Grade 1 Fairytales to Grade 5 Greek Myths were discussed.  Steiner’s Renewal of Education was read and discussed enthusiastically.

The second module slated from Sept 11 to Sep 27th will explore of the what the child of today needs and how teachers meet these needs through the lens of the Waldorf curriculum. This will be followed by Christof-Jost Conference (Sep 29th to Oct 3rd) with the Theme- The development of feeling in pedagogy.

The third module (slated in January*) will continue with the theme of Waldorf Education as a Sanctuary in the Shifting Sands of Modern Education, with a strong focus on middle and higher grades.  This will lead into the KG conference by Philip Reubke from January 27th to 31st and the Wilfred Sommer high school workshop from January 27th to February 5th.
